A University of Notre Dame graduate, she has also served on the boards of the South Bend Education Foundation, South Bend Chapter of Indiana Black Expo, and Saint Mary’s College Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative.

Sherrie Aman

Holy Cross Care Rehabilitation Center, St. Joseph Regional Medical Center

An Elkhart native, she received her nursing degree from Indiana University South Bend. She has strong ties to several health care facilities in Michiana. She was the director of nursing at Woodland Manor Nursing and Rehab, worked for Memorial Epworth Center at Beacon Health, and worked as a nurse at Healthwin Specialized Care, Golden Living Center, and Michiana Community Hospital, as well as working as a medical dispatcher for Mobile Emergency Medical Services. She also is an avid volunteer at All 4 Animals Rescue Inc.

Sadie Borkowski

Tutt Branch Manager, St Joseph County Public Library

A South Bend native, she received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University of South Bend and earned her Master of Library and Information Science from Indiana University Bloomington. As a Southeast Neighborhood resident, she works hard to connect with local nonprofits and other organizations to make sure her community has the resources they need to thrive.

Paulina Mayagoitia-Duenas

Branch Manager, Woodforest National Bank

For the last ten years, Paulina has worked at Woodforest National Bank; working her way up from Retail Banker to Branch Manager. During her tenure, she has donated her time in many ways. She has taught grade school children in partnership with Junior Achievement; facilitated financial education courses at the Northern Indiana Food Bank; and she has volunteered countless hours with both The Window, Inc. and the Center for the Homeless. She has been recognized by Woodforest for her many contributions, all while leading her branch to numerous awards including a top 15 finish bank-wide in 2020.
